However, while I myself am providing in-house support for my customer's Instagram and Facebook,
Even when I looked it up and looked it up, the latest Instagram map registration method didn't come up, so I wrote an article this time.
With an Instamap, you can find photos and videos posted by users with location information on a map, and you can search for restaurants and tourist spots around your current location.
When you tap a store or location, posts from that location are displayed in a list, and it is possible to know the atmosphere and state of affairs in advance. Unlike general map apps like Google Maps, it is useful for discovering new stores from the user's point of view from “shining” photos. It is used for traveling, visiting cafes, etc.
In various articles, it is said that creating a new custom spot on Facebook → an Instagram map can guide registration,
It seems like Facebook won't be able to create new custom dots from around 2023.
If you refer to another company's article, they'll show you a button called “+ Add New Spot” at the bottom. It is currently not displayed.
① Change from initial account to pro account on Instagram
Click Edit Profile on the home screen
Register your address from the contact options
② Create a business page on Facebook
Add your company logo
Click ADD ADDRESS
Edit your place of residence → add each item
Make sure the pin is standing correctly on Facebook's custom spot
Location on the map → click the i mark in the lower left corner → click Report an issue with the map
Select Other and describe the issue → click “Report”
Within 3 business days, Facebook will set the pin correctly.
Match the names of Google Maps and Instagram and Facebook business pages
If the names in each medium match, they will be registered as soon as possible.
③ Connect your Facebook and Instagram accounts
Please link your Instagram account with Facebook Business Manager
Please link to your Facebook account on Instagram
④ Add location information registered on Facebook in Instagram feed posts
If the frame is displayed but the name isn't reflected due to a bug, add location information from an Instagram feed post
⑤ The store is reflected on the Instagram map
